Mike Baxter
Founder, MeshHive Ltd
Auckland, New Zealand
I've spent over a decade building software and leading engineering teams across New Zealand and internationally. That experience made one thing clear: the biggest drag on productivity isn't a lack of information — it's information that's impossible to find, hard to trust, and scattered across a dozen tools no one fully owns.
MeshHive is my attempt to fix that. We're building knowledge infrastructure that actually works — tools that help teams capture what they know, structure it in a way that's useful, and surface the right answer at the right moment.
Our first product, Knowledge Distillery, is designed to turn the unstructured knowledge locked inside your organisation — in documents, conversations, and people's heads — into something structured, searchable, and genuinely actionable.
Background
Before starting MeshHive, I worked across enterprise software, SaaS platforms, and custom development — building everything from large-scale APIs to customer-facing products. My work has always sat at the intersection of engineering, product thinking, and the messy human problems that technology is supposed to solve.
I'm a C# and .NET developer at heart, with a strong interest in AI-native architecture, developer tooling, and the practical challenges of bringing AI into real business workflows.
